Getting Started
Animal Dobble is a fast-paced memory and pattern recognition game featuring 57 unique animal illustrations across seven escalating stages. Your goal is to match pairs of identical animals as quickly as possible while maintaining accuracy to build combo multipliers.
Core Mechanics
Time Management
Each stage begins with a set time limit (5-15 seconds depending on difficulty). Every successful match adds bonus seconds, but the timer continuously decreases. Leftover time at stage completion converts to bonus points.
- • Stage 1-2: 5 seconds initial, +2s per match
- • Stage 3-5: 8 seconds initial, +3s per match
- • Stage 6-7: 12 seconds initial, +4s per match
Scoring System
Base points are awarded for each match, multiplied by your current streak bonus. Consecutive matches increase your multiplier up to 5x. Missing a match or running out of time resets the streak to 1x.
Stage-by-Stage Breakdown
Stage 1: Introduction (3×3 Grid)
EASYStrategy: Scan top-to-bottom, left-to-right systematically. Aim for 100% accuracy to establish your streak multiplier.
Stage 2-3: Building Complexity (4×4 Grid)
MODERATEStrategy: Divide grid into four quadrants. Memorize 2 pairs per quadrant, then execute matches quickly to build time buffer.
Stage 4-5: Advanced Play (5×5 Grid)
HARDStrategy: Use first-pass scanning to identify 3 easy matches. Execute those immediately to add bonus time, then use peripheral vision to detect remaining pairs.
Stage 6-7: Expert Challenge (6×6 Grid)
EXPERTStrategy: Combine all techniques. Scan for distinctive animals first, execute 4-5 quick matches to establish time buffer, then systematically clear remaining pairs using chunking method.
Advanced Tips
1. Chunking Strategy
Instead of memorizing individual card positions, group cards into "chunks" of 4-6 cards based on spatial proximity.
2. First-Pass Scanning
Use the first 2-3 seconds of each stage to quickly scan the entire grid without clicking. Focus on identifying 3-5 obvious pairs that stand out visually.
